Dr. Delaney resides in Binbrook, Ontario with her husband John, dogs Pheonix and Memphis, and horses Bingo and Sadie. She has lived in Binbrook her entire life, and is excited to see the town growing. Delaney completed her Bachelor of Science in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where she played Division 1 softball for 4 years, earning titles such as Deans List Scholar and All Conference Player. She returned to Ontario, attending the Veterinary College from 2004-2008, and receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. After her gradutation, she spent the first year and a half specializing in large animal medicine and has since devoted her career to small animal medicine. Delaney feels that no matter what aspect of veterinarian medicine you are practicing, you never know it all, and enjoys the fact that she has chosen a career that is constantly evolving and never boring.
Dr. Heather McGowan
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. McGowan has always had a soft spot for animals and a keen interest in science and medicine, so putting them together for her profession just seemed logical. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph before she graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in June of 2006. She has been practicing small animal and equine medicine since. Just recently, she recognized the need for a change of pace in her life...so she is now devoting her career to small animal medicine.
Heather currently lives in Caledonia, with her husband David, and their four furry kids. They have two cats, Sambuca and Bella. As well, they are the proud owners of Pippin and Molly. Pippin is a Greyhound, and Molly is a cross between a Black Lab and an Irish Setter.....so she has LOTS of energy! They spend their free time hiking with their dogs, and playing Ultimate frisbee and hockey.
She absolutely LOVES her job and the constant challenge it provides her. Each day is filled with new adventures and she always goes home feeling fulfilled!
