Dr. Tina has a new puppy! Stella is her name!

WEEK #1

Stella is an 8 week old  Giant Schnoodle. She is part Standard Poodle and part Giant Schnauzzer. I think she may possibly be the smartest puppy ever(but I am a little biased). She has been in our house for a week and we are definately in love with her. The first few nights were sleep deprived as we worked at crate training her. The last few nights she has slept until 6am! It really is like having a baby in the house. We all tip toe around her crate hoping not to wake her up. She seems to have a strong preference for chewing shoes over the multitude of bright coloured, squeeky, food laced chew toys in front of her. Her preference is newspapers, shoes and skin as far as favourite chew toys are concerned. We are working on barking like another dog to teach her not to play bite hard. I think my kids need a little work on mimmicing the yelp sound but  otherwise she is improving.
